15.5 – Wearables – Challenge 5

For this challenge I was excited to make a Quilter's Coat. The pattern is by Tedi Patterson owner of  ThreadyBearCreations on Etsy. I was hoping that we would have a clothing challenge. I was ready and waiting! 

The pattern starts with a a tractional Indian Kantha Quilt. This was my third coat using this pattern it's so fun, easy and looks cool! I had ordered my fabric in January hoping I would get a chance to make a coat. I'm so happy it worked out! Thanks again for another great challenge!

    What a cool jacket! Making one has been on my list for quite a while. How did you keep the big-stitching from coming loose after cutting your pattern pieces? You look so happy in your new creation!

Project Quilting Season 15!  15.1 – Bird House Hello!  I'm excited to join in another season of Project Quilting this will make my 4th year participating. I hope you enjoy my first challenge for 2024. There's Room for Everyone!
